How Not to Drown in a Hundred Videos About AI
Saving a video to NotebookLM is easy. The harder part is understanding what is genuinely worth implementing and what is merely an impressive demonstration.
Situation
Create a separate notebook for one topic and add primary sources. For each source, record the author, date, link, claim, and expected benefit. Do not mix learning materials, competitor research, and work instructions in one folder.
What to do
Ask for a table rather than a summary: idea, evidence, cost, risk, test, and success criterion. The agent then turns only the ideas that pass the filter into tasks. NotebookLM helps you research sources, but it does not replace engineering validation.
Checking the result
Check: take three videos and have the system choose one for an experiment. The selected one must have a link, a clear test, and a reason why it is better than the current solution.
What usually goes wrong
If a source does not show a result, it is an idea, not a proven method. Do not copy code or instructions simply because a video has attracted a lot of views.
